​Jasmine Fisher, Registered Psychologist and Director of River Psychology and Counselling, provides individual therapy for adolescents (14+) and adults in Como, Perth, and via secure telehealth across Australia.

Her approach is warm and collaborative, with a strong focus on creating a safe and respectful space where you feel heard and understood.​ All therapy is trauma-informed and tailored to your individual needs, experiences, and goals.

Therapeutic Approach

Therapy with Jasmine is tailored to each individual's goals, strengths, and circumstances. Drawing on an integrative approach, she incorporates evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, EMDR, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

 

Jasmine works collaboratively with clients to deepen self-understanding, build practical coping strategies, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, flexibility, and clarity.

 

She is also a trained facilitator of the Circle of Security®, an attachment-based parenting program that supports parents to better understand their child's emotional needs and strengthen secure parent-child relationships.

 

Areas of Interest

Jasmine has a particular interest in Schema Therapy, which can help people develop a deeper understanding of long-standing emotional patterns, core beliefs, and the ways these influence their thoughts, feelings, and relationships.

She is also passionate about supporting Autistic people and people with ADHD or AuDHD from a strengths-based, neuroaffirming perspective. Therapy may include exploring social, emotional, and sensory needs, identifying helpful accommodations, and developing practical strategies to support everyday functioning, wellbeing, and meaningful participation in work, education, and community life.
