NDIS customers

River Psychology and Counselling offers services for NDIS participants aged +14 years of age, to support them in achieving their plan goals.

River Psychology and Counselling offers individual therapy for participants that are self-managed or plan-managed via in-office and telehealth appointments. We have a special interest in providing affirming therapy services to neurodivergent clients (eg: autistic, ADHD and other neurotypes).

If your NDIS funds are self-managed, payment of the session fee is required immediately after each therapy session. For plan-managed participants, your plan manager will be forwarded an invoice immediately after each therapy session.

One hour individual sessions fees are based on NDIS pricing agreements.

* River Psychology and Counselling does not provide services for NDIA managed  participants and children under the age of 14 years.

Cancellation Policy
An SMS reminder will be sent 72 hours prior to your appointments. Appointments are precious, if you are unable to attend your appointment, it would be appreciated if you would provide 48 hours’ notice to reschedule by sending a text or calling 0435 093 554. For a cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice or a non-attendance to your scheduled appointment, a full session fee with no Medicare rebate will be charged. Failure to give adequate notice prevents us from booking another person who may require psychological care. If you are unwell with cold and flu symptoms, teletherapy options are available.
